EARTH FRIENDLY

Friendsheep was founded by Valeria Isaacs, a passionate environmentalist and social entrepreneur, with the mission of eliminating single-use plastic and toxic chemicals commonly found in household commodities like dryer sheets, fabric fresheners, and pet toys, by replacing them with safe, natural, long lasting alternatives. All our products are reusable, plastic free, cruelty free, fair trade, and compostable at the end of their life.

HAND MADE WITH LOVE

All the products we sell are lovingly handmade for fair wages by underprivileged women and people with disabilities in Kathmandu, Nepal. With high standards for ethical working conditions, medical care, education, and purpose, we strive to empower disadvantaged communities while respecting animals and nature. Our handmade products are then assembled, packaged and shipped here in the USA.

ALWAYS HUMANE

Friendsheep products are Certified Cruelty Free by Leaping Bunny. Our wool comes from sheep humanely treated and sheared. It is sourced from a small consortium of family-owned farms in New Zealand where sheep are ethically treated and no chemicals, hormones or pesticides are ever used, and no mulesing is practiced.

PLASTIC FREE, CARBON FREE

We use post-consumer 100% recyclable and 100% compostable packing materials. We only use packaging and shipping materials that are free of plastic. We're CarbonFund partners and with them we carbon offset every delivery and shipment throughout our supply chain.

ONE TREE PLANTED FOR EVERY PURCHASE

We plant one tree towards permanent reforestation with every purchase of a Friendsheep product. Thanks to our partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects, so far we've planted over 600,000 trees!

GIVING BACK

We care for the Earth, children, animals, nature, ocean, and equality. We are proud 1% for the Planet members, and support several animal rescues, children’s hospitals, and nonprofits working in ocean conservation.
